07. Serrano's

Serrano’s is the oldest continually family owned business in Chandler.  The original business, opened in 1919, was a clothing business called the Popular Store.  In 1979, Ernie and Eva Serrano closed the last of their clothing stores and opened a restaurant behind the original Popular Store on Arizona Avenue.  The chain of family owned Mexican restaurants has grown to seven eateries across the East Valley.
