    ryan-evans-dunk.jpgRyan Evans is a professional basketball player.  He played at Hamilton High School as a junior and senior, earning 1st Team All State honors as a senior, a season in which he averaged 18.4 points per game and 7.4 rebounds per game.

    Ryan attended Wisconsin University, where he played basketball for Coach Bo Ryan.  He was an invaluable member of the team, and durable, as he set a career record at Wisconsin by playing in 138 games.  He earned Honorable Mention All-BIG10 honors as a junior, and as a senior was a member of the BIG10 All-Academic team and was named to the BIG10 All Tournament team.

    He went undrafted in the 2013 NBA draft, but signed a free agent contract with the Detroit Pistons.  He played several games on the Pistons summer league team, averaging a solid 7.25 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal per game.  Despite the solid summer league showing, he was sent to the NBA Development League, where he played the 2013 season as a member of the Sioux Falls Skyforce.  In his single season with Sioux Falls he averaged 8.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1 assist per game.
